GJSD Staff Members Compete in the Workforce Team Challenge
Nine Johnstown School District employees were among more than 9,200 runners and walkers who took part in the CDPHP Workforce Team Challenge in Albany during the evening of May 19, 2011. Competing for a third year, Johnstown entered two teams of four runners that included teachers, assistant principals and support staff (any employee of the District can take part).

Results for the district's two teams in this year's 3.5 mile road race were 2:02:53 and 3:43:08. In 2009 Johnstown's teams finished 65th and 183rd and in 2010 they finished in 85th, 163rd, and 175th. The 85th place in 2010 made them the highest ranked CoEd district in the HFM BOCES region!
