Vote & Board Election Results
District residents approved the
2012-2013
budget proposition of $28,515,982 by a vote of 404 in favor and
109 opposed.
Receiving
the most votes for the three open Board of Education seats
were nominees Ronald P. Beck (393) and Mark J. Ward (359),
together with write-in candidate Kathryn Zajicek (225).
Those individuals are now slated to be sworn in at the
Board’s July 2012 organizational meeting.
Other individuals receiving multiple write-in votes
included Eva Hall Mraz (95) and Scott Jeffers (51)

Thank you to the community members who voted
overwhelmingly in favor of the proposed 2012-2013 budget
for the Greater Johnstown School District. The support
will ensure all education programs stay intact and allow
us to enhance early literacy programs. Your support is
genuinely appreciated and your school district will
continue to provide a quality education for the students
of Johnstown.
