Working
to Prevent Teen Suicide
Maureen
Underwood, LCSW and Clinical/Advisory Chair of the Society
for the Prevention of Teen Suicide, conducted a workshop
hosted at Johnstown High School recently. Representatives
from seven school districts participated in training that
included Lifelines, a nationally recognized "best
practice" program in teen suicide prevention. A
collaborative effort by The Family Counseling Center,
Fulton-Montgomery Suicide Prevention Task Force and
Suicide Prevention Center of New York made the training
possible.
