Student Athlete Mentoring Program

As part of Johnstown's student-athlete mentoring program, student athletes visit each of the district's elementary schools at various times throughout the year to buddy-up with the younger children. They spend 30 minutes together twice a week working on project adventure games and character education, while promoting being active in Johnstown Athletics.

Varsity Baseball and Varsity Girls Lacrosse Team Up with Pleasant Avenue Students
 Members of the varsity baseball and varsity girls lacrosse teams took part in mentoring Pleasant Avenue students every Thursday for six weeks during the Spring 2011 season. The students and their mentors enjoyed activities, schoolwork, project adventure games and show & tell.
