Get Out and
Play Day Family Fun Night Cookout - July 26, 2011
 The
Johnstown Purple and Gold Sports Booster Club would like to
thank everyone that made our recent Get Out and Play Day a
terrific success. A special thank you to Scott Hale and Jim Robare for organizing everything. Thank you to Partner’s Pub
and Sara Lee for donating the food for the evening. Thank
you to Lou Lanzi who cooked all those hot dogs and
hamburgers. Thank you to the St. Johnsville Fire Department
for letting us use their dunking booth and to Bruce Heberer
and Garth Hillier for getting the dunking booth to Knox,
setting it up and taking it away. “Dunk the Coaches” was a
huge hit. Thank you to Coach Hale, Coach Kraemer, Coach
Chamberlain, Coach St. Peter, Coach Petrie and Mr. Robare
for volunteering to be dunked. Thank you to the many
Johnstown coaches and older student athletes for
volunteering their time to come out and help organize all
the games. Thank you to the many members of the Purple and
Gold Sports Booster Club who volunteered to help in any way
that they could. And most of all, thank you to the parents
who brought their children to Knox to enjoy the games, food
and socialization. We hope that everyone who attended had a
great time and will come back again next year.
