Read-A-Lot-A-Thon was a HUGE success!
Congratulations to all of the Glebe Street Panther
Readers who contributed to making the Read-A-Lot-A-Thon
such an unbelievable success. Here are the statistics:
-
During the ten days of the RALAT , students read over
67,000 minutes!
-
Thirty books were awarded to students who were “caught
reading” during the two weeks of RALAT.
-
Because of the Panthers’ reading and fund-raising
efforts, more than $3,800 was raised to support the
Accelerated Reader program!

As
promised for reaching their goal of reading 20,000

Thank you Mrs. Lisicki for all of your hard work
planning and organizing the Read-A-Lot-A-Thon! Thank
you, Glebe PTA, for your tireless support of great
programs for our kids!
Please offer your patronage to the following businesses
who supported the Read-A-Lot-A-Thon with their generous
donations: Gloversville Wal-Mart, Barnes and Noble
Booksellers, Price Chopper, Stewart's Shops, and Market
Street Pizza.
The Read-A-Lot-A-Thon is officially over, but the
reading shouldn't stop! Parents, there is a great deal
of momentum and enthusiasm around reading right now.
Please help us to take advantage of this by encouraging
your children to keep it up!
