February 2012 - A Note from Mr. Vivenzio
Report cards will be sent home this week. Please take the time to review your child’s report card with him/her. Compliment them on their good grades and hard work, and discuss with them how they can do better in subject areas that they did not do so well in. Your help and encouragement goes a long way in helping your child establish good study habits.

Please remember that the line of communication always remains open between home and school. If you would like to discuss your child’s education, please feel free to contact me or your child’s teacher. You may call the school at 762-8610 or email us. My email address is jvivenzio@johnstownschools.org, your child’s teacher’s address is their first initial last name (one word) @johnstownschools.org. For example Mrs. Reed is hreed@johnstownschools.org.

Also, please remember your child’s safety is very important to us. At dismissal and arrival, please obey all rules pertaining to buses—do not pass any bus with their red lights on. Also, Pleasant Avenue is quite congested at dismissal time, please be aware of your surroundings, and watch for children as they cross the street. Thank you for caring!
