May 2013 - A Note from Mr. Vivenzio
As you can tell the next two months are very busy. Now that the weather is getting nicer and spring sports have started, please remind your child that school work is their number one priority. There are still 7 weeks left of school and they should give it their all.

Also, with warm weather, children love to play outside. Please remind your child to take time to read. The more they read, the more they will know. Our accelerated reader program ends on May 17th. Encourage your child to read and take the test so they can participate in the Accelerated Reader events that will take place over the next month and a half.

Please remember that students should always dress appropriately for school. Please make sure that they have sneakers for gym and recess. Students who are not wearing sneakers will not be able to play on the playgrounds. Also, remember when riding your bike to and from school, students need to wear a bike helmet. It’s the law!

Mr. Jeffrey Vivenzio,
Pleasant Avenue Principal
