Dear
Warren St. Families,
January is the time of the year when we all set goals,
make resolutions, and work towards making the New Year
even better than the last. It is the perfect time to sit
with your children and build good learning habits. Setting
up study areas in the home, reading a little more each
night, and striving to learn math facts are excellent
goals to establish in the New Year. As parents, the PTA is
a great place to start for the goal of getting involved.
Please take the opportunity to volunteer in the school,
and at events whenever possible. With your support at
home, and the collaboration with the teachers in the
classroom, we can help to assure a successful 2012!
With the New Year, there is also the unfortunate reality
of a challenging economy, and difficulties that are sure
to impact the education of our students. As school
administrators throughout the region, we continue to
advocate for the inequity that exists for low wealth
districts. Something must change to allow our students
access to quality programs and opportunities. As a voting
public, it is important to select representation and
leaders that will stand up and speak on behalf of our
children. Our children deserve a well rounded public
education, and with the right leadership and a unified
voice, we will assure that our students are given that
opportunity to succeed.
Sincerely,
Mr. Ziomek
Principal
